Consisting of new build extensions at either end of the building with the existing chapel extensively renovated. The brief was to convert the property into a commercial workshop, café and shop for the business. There were extensive structural implications to the extensions and internal works including piles drilled for the block and beam substructure. A ground source heat pump was installed with 400m of boreholes drilled.

The roof had extensive repairs replacing all the lead valleys, installation of bat dormers, replacement of ridge tiles. The facias were clad in lead and oiled for a maintenance free finish for years to come. The new sections of the property we due to have new slate which we advised the client to purchase reclaimed slate which we sourced and installed.

The project was completed in the timescale and the clients were able to be operational for their planned opening date.
