To build a block of 9 timber frame apartments in the grounds of an old flour mill. A more durable and well designed project to ensure a long lasting maintenance free project. Built to a budget on a incentive basis. The budget was not extended and a bonus scheme on a % basis of the allocated funds to ensure the company hit the target. A percentage share of the sold apartments was also agreed as part of the contract. With good access and a clear site this became achievable within the schedule. The key here was a format in which both contractor and client stand to benefit as a collective group.
